Whether it is planning to study abroad, trade, investment, immigration, marriage, etc., as long as the domestic plan is madeIf the document is held abroad for use, it must go through the notary public authentication, diplomatic verification or Hague authentication procedures, so that the foreign unit can confirm the authenticity of the document.
Documents that may require to be notarized:
Power of Attorney / Engagement Letter / Letter of Authorization
For example, when a foreigner invests in Taiwan, he entrusts an investment agent to apply for a POA for investment license, a letter of authorization for entrusting a foreign manufacturer to handle distribution business, and a letter of authorization for entrusting relatives and friends to handle banking and property-related affairs abroad.
Commercial documents
For example, for trademark authorization, both parties have reached an agreement by telephone, fax or email, and the contract conditions have been negotiated, but for some reason they cannot sign a written contract at the same time. The notary confirms that the signature is indeed made by the person in order to achieve the purpose of signing a written contract.
Some countries may also require manufacturers to authenticate commercial invoices (Invoice), quotations (Quotation), contracts (Contract / Agreement) and other documents for specific transactions (such as government-related transactions).
